Are you ready for this last day? On the fifth day of our Salkantay Trek, we will enjoy one of the most anticipated visits by many travelers.

We will get up early to enjoy a delicious breakfast and take the CONSETTUR buses, which will take us to the Machupicchu entrance gate. Why are you so early? Being among the first to arrive will provide us with many facilities, avoiding crowds and allowing us to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunrises in Machu Picchu.

When you arrive at the entrance gate, don’t forget to present your entry ticket and passport. Once inside the Llaqta, our guide of Inkayni Peru Tours will take you to know the most important places of Machupicchu (2,400 m / 7,873 feet), including temples and altars marked by history and an energy unmatched. The visit will last approximately 2 hours. After exploring this enigmatic place, we recommend you visit Huayna Picchu. Remember! For this, you will need another additional ticket. From this, you will enjoy a spectacular and incomparable view of Machupicchu. It will take about an hour and a half to climb this mountain.

After our visit, we will return to the village of Aguas Calientes on the CONSETTUR buses. From there, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo (2,700 m / 8,858 ft.). In Ollantaytambo, our transportation will be waiting for you to take you to Cusco City (3,350 m.a.s.l./ 8,792 feet).

We will say our goodbyes, thus marking the end of our services in this adventure of the Salkantay Trek.
